Sizing and made to measure
Is every piece made to measure?
Garments are cut to your measurements after a consultation and fitting. Footwear and small accessories follow standard sizes, confirmed at launch.
How do I give my measurements?
In person at the House, or by video. For clients abroad we guide you step by step and can review your measurements with you on a call. See the size guide for what we will ask.
How many fittings are there?
Most garments have a sample fitting and a final fitting. Heavily embroidered pieces such as bridal lehengas and sherwanis may have a third. Clients abroad receive guidance for fitting on video.
Can alterations be made after delivery?
Yes. Tell us what you would like adjusted and we will advise on what can be done and how long it takes.

How long does a piece take?
Lead times depend on the piece and the embroidery. They are confirmed at launch and shared at your consultation. For a wedding, we advise beginning well in advance.

Can I have a consultation on video?

What do the pieces cost?
Pricing is shared in a private consultation. Pieces show price on request until the first collection is revealed.

Will I pay duties and taxes?

How should I care for an embroidered piece?
Dry clean only for most pieces, store in breathable cotton or muslin, and air after wearing. Each craft page has more detail.
How can I tell good embroidery from machine work?
Look at the reverse, the evenness of the wire or thread, and small honest variation. Our journal article on zardozi explains what to look for.
Where are your pieces made?
Pieces are made by master artisans. Craft regions and the details of each piece are confirmed at launch.
