Bridal and zari couture.
What Zarvenya means
zar
Persian, gold
वेणीveṇī
Sanskrit, a braid
Heritage and craft, past and present, bound into every piece.
Zarvenya joins two words from two great traditions. Zar, Persian for gold, gave India its zari, the gold thread at the heart of royal embroidery. Veṇī, Sanskrit for a braid, speaks of strands woven together into something stronger and more beautiful. Zarvenya means "woven in gold": heritage and craft, past and present, bound into every piece we make.

MenswearThe bridal journey
Four stages,one wedding
- 1First consultationWe begin with the wedding: the families, the ceremonies, the venue and the season. In India we meet at the House. Abroad, we meet on video.
- 2DesignThe silhouette, the colour and the placement of embroidery are drawn for you. For couples, the bride’s and groom’s looks are designed to sit in the same light.
- 3FittingsA sample fitting checks line and proportion. A final fitting settles length, balance and comfort. Heavy embroidery is allowed the time it needs.
- 4Wedding-week supportIn the days before the ceremony we steam, check and prepare each piece, and advise on draping, dupatta and safa. It reaches you ready to wear.
